Title: Easy Oven Stew

3/4lbBoneless beef round stead,
  Trimmed and cubed
1tbCooking oil
4mdPotatoes, cut into 1 inch
  Cubes
5mdCarrots, cut into 1 1/2 inch
  Chunks
1 Rib celery, cut into 1 inch
  Chunks
1lgOnion, cut into 1 inch
  Chunks
14 1/4ozCan of chunky stewed
  Tomatoes
3tbQuick cooking tapioca
1tsBrowning sauce
1/4tsPepper
1cFrozen peas

In dutch oven, brown the steak in oil. Add the next eight ingredients; cover and bake at 300 for 4 to 5 hours. Add the peas during the last 30 minutes of baking. Yield: 6 servings

Diabetic Exchanges: One serving equals 2 starch, 2 vegetable, 1 meat; also 263 calories, 257 mg sodium, 33 mg cholesterol, 38 gm carbohydrate, 17 gm protein and 5 gm fat.
